We had a song of the day thread over on LP Forum, why not one with just Liz songs.
To inaugurate this thread, I pick Mesmerizing.
The song is one of songs that jump out at you from Exile. There was a rumor that it was a part of the mysterious 3rd GirlySound tape, that no one seems to have located. Harkrider even proclaimed it as one of the best love songs ever (if I remember that right).
There are a number of versions of Mesmerizing from the several bootlegs recordings of Liz performing live (Live at Shank Hall Apr 1995, Live at Joes Pub 2005, Live in Philadelphia Oct 2005).

For today, I pick the song Headache from wcse. I think this has a nice dance beat.
There is also an alternative version out there that's really cool as well.

My song to start out the new week is "Down". It doesn't show up on any albums, but you can watch the video from the lizphair.com site if you go to videos and click on one of the tabs for the more complete list of videos.
Miss Kitty performed a cover of Down for the fan album Cover and Run.

It's the start of a weekend. Let's make the song of the day "Dogs of LA", which was on the Whip-Smart album.

Never Said, off of Exile in Guyville.
This song is the one that will be featured in VH1's special: top 100 of the 90s.

The video to Polyester Bride is truly psychotic. I like it more and more.
