tape 3

Hi, This is my first time here so please forgive what may very well be outdated and uninformed comments.
I noticed that the track list for tape 3 is incomplete  - or perhaps the listings for the first two are - and wondered if this discography ( http://www.visi.com/~lazlo/liz/discography.html#Girlysound ) is accurate. If so, I think I have some of these as mp3s from the old napster days.

For the longest time, most people had several generation old remixes from the original tapes.

Tape 1 and tape 2 that are available on this site are damn close to the originals (not first generation, but really close).  We even have what they were labeled with.

Everyone seems to want the same thing for the mythical third tape.  There is additional material that was not on the "official" versions of the first two tapes, so there must have been a third one, but we know a lot less about it.

Much of what is out there is multi-generation copies, with improvised names of the songs.

If you listen to what you have and you can verify that it doesn't match anything that is posted her, then provide a sample.   I am nowhere near an expert, but we do have some experts that we might be able to get their attention.

This is probably not even anything...but in Liz's iTunes Original thingy, she was talking about making the Girlysound tapes and mentions "about 3 tapes worth..."

cheery_queen.  Now that I can see your avatar in larger size, it is different that what I thought it was.  The finger at the top looks like a mouth in lower resolution.  It appeared to be the lower part of a face on something that was stitched on the side.

It's funny what the mind does to fill in details...

I have always thought the same thing about that avatar, that it was the face of some hot chick with a cool haircut.  To finally realize it was merely someone writing -- how terribly ironic.
