I did the early voting thing.  It was a 30 minute wait at the library, one of the early voting polling places, but that's one less worry on election day.

The early voting results are in (no, not how people voted, because those tallies won't occur until tomorrow).  No, what we know about early voting are that 50% of the registered voters in Travis county and Williamson county have ALREADY voted.

In other elections, we'd be happy with 30-40% overall turnout and we're already at the 50% mark with early voting.

So, how close will we get to 100% tomorrow?

By the way, I don't live in California, but am opposed to Prop 8 out in California.  If you live in California, I urge you to vote against Prop 8.
