I used a term over at LPF to describe a quality about Liz's music that I think she needs to cultivate on the 6th album: smartness.
I figured that I probably needed to define the term:
- Song having universal message
- Song having interesting lyrics that need to be deciphered
- Song having interesting music, particularly guitar work
I think that I would also add songs that playfully attack you, like a nerf spitball.
