..to dress up the site, both the forum and the main Girly Sound download page.  The current, minimalist approach is chiefly attributable to my limited graphic design abilities.  That said, it kind of fits the subject matter.  I was thinking that variations on the "girls room" iconography might be cool.  Monochrome is also nice.  Maybe the girls room symbol holding a guitar, with one arm raised, ready to jam.

Or something hi-fi would work as well.  Let's discuss.  I've attached a sample "girls room" symbol.

Hmm, it appears I am not allowed to download graphics  Sad

I was thinking using alot of the older images would be best, avoiding more modern photography.

I like the picture from QP.  I'm guessing that you probably want something not too large.

I do like the picture that cherryqueen posted, but would guess that it's too large.

There's also the original artwork from the Girly Sound tapes. To whom shall I send it?

That would be fantastic.  You can PM me or just attach to this thread, I suppose.

I love the photo in my banner. It took forever to find it, Liz looks so fresh and clean.

She's frighteningly pretty in that one.  Where's it from?  I'd never seen it.

I like it.

It's just hard to tell at times what other people think of my opinions--so I don't know the value of my compliment.

I'm not sure, I found it scouring mesmerizing for photos.

I went a bit overboard with the effects, yet I still possess an ability to make anything look tacky.  Embarrassed
