I got an email from our fearless leader here.  He got a message from JOG which didn't say anything, but spoke volumes about what was unsaid.

It maybe gone.

I'm trying to collect websites, etc. for the members of the group.

Do you have the site for Eden's blog?  I didn't save it.

Actually, I didn't get an email from JOG.  We just exchanged instant messages.  I didn't ask him about the future of the LPF.  Rather, he talked about some graphic design work.  It was a pretty random conversation, where he expressed the same sadness that we all feel for the state of things -- mostly that Liz herself faces an uncertain future as an artist.  My message back to him was that we (her fans) should keep things going.  He agreed.

But then when the LPF flatlined later that day, I figured that maybe he got the word early, and was trying to clue me in.  Maybe.  Who knows.  I was far too busy solving other people's problems (at work) to analyze his motives.  I'm sure we'll hear from him again.  Or should I say that I hope we do.  For the record, I always liked JOG.  I know I said some ridiculous things here and there, but those were always in reaction to the mass-deletions.

Also, for the record, whoever perpetrated those mass-deletions, I want to fight you.  Yes, like William Shatner.

I did find a website for Eden by examining google records.  Occasionally, you strike gold with what they do list when you do the proper google search.

We should know for sure later this week.  You would think that powering down the forum would be accompanied by some sort of official announcement.

I do recognize that we need to be practicing our fire drills for the "real thing", if it turns out that this wasn't the "real end".
